I have one more layout to share with you that uses the Green line from My Little Shoebox. I know I have already said it, but man...I LOVE this line! It quickly became my favorite. :)

And speaking of My Little Shoebox...the sketch is due tomorrow for the October sketch challenge. Check that all out here.

ETA: So sorry everyone...I messed up the deadline. You have until Nov. 15th for the MLS sketch challenge.

Have a wonderful weekend! And be safe on Halloween! :)

Flip Flop Hip Hop

Well today is Thursday, so that means it is time for Unity's Hip Hop!!! But we're changing it up again today...and doing another Flip Flop Hip Hop!!! What's that? Well we switched things up a bit and the Unity design team will be playing with Ippity stamps and the Ippity design team will be showcasing Unity stamps. Isn't it fun!!! AND we are all sharing "encouragement" projects with you today...we thought that was especially appropriate this month being that it is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Think pink, right...well at least for my project. ;)

You'll want to start the hop at the Unity Blog. If you came from Jennifer then you are in the right place. :)

Here's my project for the day:

I used the "Quotes a'la Happy" stamp set from Ippity. At first I wasn't sure how I was going to use this set for the project I wanted to do, but I think it turned out just fine. :) That wooden scalloped square is from Say It With Letters. I have a bunch of her stuff just waiting to be altered. :) Here is a close up:

I used Helmar adhesives to adhere everything:

* I used Helmar Premium Craft glue for the bulk of my adhering.
* I used my fav...the Liquid Scrap Dots to pop up the dress form.

And....

I do have another stamp set to give away today. :) All you need to do is leave a comment on this blog post and you could win this stamp set:

And one more thing...

Unity is DONATING $.25 cents per NEW FACEBOOK FRIEND to the Susan G. Koman Foundation. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. Share the NEWS! Every person that hits the like button starting at MIDNIGHT till MIDNIGHT tomorrow UNITY donates $.25 cents! So please, if you haven't become a fan or "liked" Unity over on facebook...go do that now! :)

It's Raining Glitter!

Yesterday was fall on my blog...today Christmas. :) That's right, I am sharing a Christmas layout with you today. I just LOVE Christmas time. In fact I am ready to already start listening to Christmas music. :) But I am forcing myself to wait until after Halloween. :(

Here's my layout today:

The snowflakes are from Magistical Memories. They were part of a mini book that I just used on my page instead. I added red glitter to them and then even a bit of stitching. It's actually not that hard to stitch through MM chipboard...they are the perfect width! All the papers and stickers are from Echo Park Paper Company. Here's some close up's:

I added the glitter by first spraying Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive on my chipboard pieces and then covering with glitter. :) The rest of my layout was adhered with Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.

That swirl is actually the negative part of a paper that I used my Quickutz Revolution to cut a swirl with.

Seriously...can I start sing Christmas music now? Even just looking at this layout makes me happy. :) I love Christmas.

Have a MAGICAL day! :)

Magistical Memories

Let me take a moment to introduce you to this wonderful chipboard manufacturer called Magistical Memories. A couple years back I came across their company and placed an order. I was so happy with the quality and the designs of the chipboard...I just love it! Recently I discovered they were having a DT call and went for it. As you know, I did make the team, so you will be seeing a lot more of their product in my work. :) Their chipboard really is awesome! It's not too thick, not too thin, easy to alter, but perfect to add just as is too! I hope you take some time and look at the store. Their blog can be found here. And while you are at it, why not check out their facebook page and hit "like". :) You never know when that might benefit YOU. ;)

Today I am sharing a layout with you with some of their new releases...

A little frolicking in the fall anyone?

I used new chipboard from two different designers. I used the Scroll Cara piece (a Nicole Lombardo design) and the Scallop Border (an Amy Teets design). I simply sprayed them with brown glimmer mist.

I used Crate Paper's Restoration line for all the papers and die cuts. Those gems on the bottom are from Nicole Lombardo. And I used Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to put it all together. :) Here are some close up's:

And I almost forgot...I owe you a winner from last week's Hip Hop. :) So....

Diane...you are my winner! :) Please send your address to jimmi.mayo@gmail.com and tell her you won the "Heart Journaling" stamp on my blog. :)

Hope you are having a wonderful day!!!!
