Scrap and Stamp Challenge....

Have you played along yet?  What are you waiting for?  Dig out those stamps....you know you have them, and make a page for the challenge!  :)  The next challenge was listed this morning.  The challenge is to make a water layout...has to have something to do with water, but it can be anything (boating, swimming, fishing, bathing, etc.).  You also have to use two patterned papers, three types of embellishments, and at least one stamped image on your layout.  Here's the layout I made for the challenge:

I also used this for a July project for Creative Chaos.  I am SO sad that this is my last month on DT for CC.  I LOVE her journaling spots!   If you haven't checked her out...seriously, check it out...her stuff is FAB!  :)  Here are some close up's of my layout:

I did a collage of journaling spots and put them behind my chipboard heart.  :)

Well I hope you have an AWESOME weekend!   And seriously, come play along with us at Scrap and Stamp (they DO have a prize).

Supplies for "Gone Swimming":
Papers--Fancy Pants, Chipboard--Rusty Pickle, Journaling Spots--Creative Chaos, Letter Stickers--My Little Shoebox, Stamps--Pink Paislee and Scarlet Lime, Ink--Stampin' Up!, Pearls--Basic grey, Thread--Prism.

Fun journaling! :)

Today is the last day from the most recent Letters and Words challenge.  The challenge was to create shaped text.  Check out the details here.   Your link needs to be posted tonight at midnight EST so if you have time today...play along!

Here's a layout that I made (it's hybrid):

What I did was make a page in photoshop of patterned paper and butterflies.  I then printed it and too my exacto knife and cut out the butterflies (leaving a border).  I layered a piece of cardstock behind it and added my journaling to those butterfly spots!  :)  Here are some close up's of the journaling.

The digital papers and elements are from Audacious Designs.  I used the Butterfly Fancy kit for this layout.

So Kelby and I have a date tonight.  :)  We are going to see the new Harry Potter movie.  Anybody seen it yet?

Supplies for "the Clan":
Cardstock--American Crafts, Papers (digital)--Audacious Designs, Chipboard Letters--Basic Grey, Buttons--Rusty Pickle, Pearls--Kaisercraft, Thread--DMC.

Amazing Race *7th Assignment*

My last project is done and posted!!! Now all I can do is wait. So the last clue took us to the Scrapping Outback site, where we found that our assignment was to create a party!!! Among it all, we need to make sure we had a sign, a centerpiece, a party favor, an invitation and a thank you card. Here's what I created, using the Candy Land line. :)

I will be back in just a little bit to post some blog candy! :)

More NEW MLS!!!

Ok, how about another layout with the NEW Robots Un-plugged line from My Little Shoebox?  This one is an 8.5 x 11 layout...

Fun fun fun...and the subject matter of the layout has nothing to do with robots...I just love this line, can be used for anything.  :)  Check out the new chipboard letters too!

Just a quick post today...but tomorrow there is going to be a party here on my blog!  Hope you come.  :)

Amazing Race *6th Assignment*

So the lack of sleep is getting to me. I pulled an all-nighter!!! Ugghh...and now you can tell that I haven't slept! LOL...I looked at the other gals work and almost started crying because they were so fabulous. Certainly made me feel like I didn't do a good enough job. Seriously, it's kinda funny how emotional I get on no sleep. Trying to regroup and hope to impress with the next challenge, which by the way, will be the last.

So this time the clue took us to Scrapbook Doodle. The assignment was to use the tab sheets and make a mini album that is fabric bound, and use the French Market line. Essentially I made an album from scratch. It was kind of fun! I am very proud of the binding I did. :)

Here's my album...there are A LOT of pictures.

The recipe cards are continued on the backs. As you can see I combined real recipes (food) with life recipes. :) Well, thanks for looking! The next clue is posted in an hour....we are approaching the final leg!

Have an awesome Tuesday!
