Today I am going to share another layout with you. It may look like the papers don't go with the pictures...but I love it. See, my son just got his first black eye this past month. The day of his graduation actually (Kindergarten graduation). And I made it look pretty. :) Really I just chose to focus, not necessarily on the black eye, but on the son who was loving his sister and showing her his black eye.
And some close up's:
When I showed my hubby this layout, he said "ah...you forget the r." Thanks babe. No, I did that on purpose too. I referred to the black eye as a "shiner" in the journaling. I liked the idea of using just "Shine" for the title. But as you can see, I did end up adding a small {er} after the title. :)
The stamps I used for this layout were from the kit of the month from May--"Another Sweet Day" from, of course, Unity Stamping Company.
Don't forget to come back tomorrow...I have an awesome project on canvas for you, and a giveaway! :)
Supplies for "Shine":
Papers--Websters Pages, Stamps--Unity Stamp Company, Ink and Markers--Stampin' Up!, Lace--Websters Pages, Gems--Prima Marketing, Thread--DMC.
