Hello all! I have a fun layout to share with you today! It uses my Cameo and one of my favorite brands ever...Webster's Pages. Webster's Pages had a challenge up on their blog to get trendy and use die cuts on your layout. They are right, cutting with your Cameo (or similar machine) is very in right now.
I personally love all the cool things you can do with your Cameo. Although, I will admit, I haven't used it as much as I want to because I get frustrated. I feel like I must be doing it all wrong because most the time I can't get it to work right. I can get it to cut my kraft cardstock perfectly. Yeah! But if I want to cut patterned paper, it either doesn't cut through the whole paper and I have to use my craft knife to cut out the rest, or it rips up the paper. Seriously thought I wasn't going to try anymore when I finally got it to work with my kraft cardstock. But I do wish I could get this thing figured out. :(
Anyways...
Here's the layout I did for the WP challenge:
I used pieces from a variety of collections for this layout.
This summer my sister-in-law took pictures of me and the kids. There was four photos. But just my luck, none of them worked great...each one had at least one person with eyes closed or face turned. You know how great Photoshop experts can take one person from one photo and put it in another photo and have it match seamlessly so you have the perfect picture. Well I spent several hours trying to do that. And failed miserably. So finally I gave up and thought I would do a better job just me and my craft knife. So I cut each person out of the best photo they had and then layered them all together on the photo to create the best possible photo for me. :) It was actually kind of a cool trick...who needs Photoshop. ;)
Here are the close up's of my layout and you can see the photo better too:
Well thanks so much for popping in today!
Have a fantastic day!

Trends and Tails
Sooo...you all know how much I love Webster's Pages. It's not a secret...if you've followed my blog for a while then you know that. I've raved about them many times. So this might be shocking....
but Webster's Pages has been sharing a new line with us (if you haven't seen it, check it out here) and that made me realize that I haven't TOUCHED the collections I bought from their LAST CHA release. Sorry WP! I do love them, I promise!
So I pulled it out and made a layout. :)

This layout uses the Trendsetter collection. I actually don't think my layout gives this collection justice. I might have to make another layout. :)
Here are some close up's:
I wonder whether Eryn will grow up calling them tails or whether it will be a short-lived thing.
I know one thing to be true.
She sure looks cute in braids...or tails, whatever you want to call them. :)
Have a wonderful day!!!!

Just For Fun
Just for fun...I took these pictures the other day of a what my son did with the recycle he was supposed to be taking out.
Just for fun...I made a scrapbook page with it, using some fun papers I hadn't had a chance to use yet. It wasn't for an assignment or a call or even to showcase a technique or anything. It was just for fun.
And just for fun...I plan on doing this again tonight. :) Just scrapping something with some products I haven't had a chance to play with.
So here's the layout I made:

It uses the super cool "Daily Junque" collection from Pink Paislee. Here are some close up's:
That chipboard frame around the photo is from Magistical Memories! I just love it. It's called the Out on a Limb Frame. I simply sprayed it with a little bit of Slate Glimmer Mist and added it to my page. Threw in the stitches just for fun. :) There's those words again.
Ok...I have more to share soon!
Oh and just a note....
Webster's Pages has done it again with their awesome new "Let's Celebrate" collection...they are partying all this week. :) Check it out here.
Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Unity, I adore you! :)
Ok...so it's no secret that I ADORE Unity Stamp Company! They are by far my favorite stamp company out there. Their rubber, their quality and their designs are the BEST! So I was thrilled when ScrapStreet featured them in The Showroom last January. Here's one of the layouts I made for that article:

The stamps are of course from Unity. The papers and stickers are all from Webster's Pages (another favorite of mine!). To view the whole supply list, go here.
Here are some close up's for ya...

You can view the Unity showcase article here. If you haven't tried using stamps on your layouts I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying it! I love stamping. :)
Hope you have a remarkable, fantastic Monday.

Hip Hop!!!
It's Thursday...which means Hip Hop! You'll want to start the hop at the Unity Blog.
Today I will be sharing a layout with you that uses one of the new Itty Bitty's:

All the papers and trims are from Webster's Pages. It's their Spring Market line. I did this layout for their February challenge to use trims. And boy did I ever use some trims. :) I love trim.
Here are some close up's of the layout:

I used adhesive from Helmar to put it all together, including 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and then some Liquid Scrap Dots (for the small picture and the heart).
Have you heard about the new monthly challenges that Unity is doing? Every month, on the 15th, there will be a new challenge and a new chance to win! This month's challenge is all about the hearts. Check it out here.
You can also win a prize by participating in today's Hip Hop sketch. Check that out here.

Meet Helen:

About Helen, from Helen:
Year 5 of living by the sea with my soul mate, our eclectic collection of kids & cats & our live-in helper - makes for a creative life, filled with interesting conversation, colour, hope & possibility. Documenting the journey through my passions - photography, journaling & the art of scrapbooking. A life fraught with challenges but my glass is always half full. I choose to collect pretty underwear, sleep under percale, embrace the warm Indian Ocean air, count the ships every day, drink cider with lemon & sing along to the Parlotones, because life is too short for my glass to be half empty.
Ok...now let's get hoppin...
Oh, and thanks for joining us today! :)
