There's Still Time!!!!

** Come back later today for a blog hop with a TON of prizes. :)

Have you checked out the October issue of ScrapStreet yet? Check it out here. You can find my article here.

And...

There's still time to submit to ScrapStreet for the January calls. You have until October 31st to submit.

Here are the calls:

January 2011 Article Calls - Features
Call 1: Show us the Snow! Let's see your creative snowflakes! Do you stamp them, piece them, or make them from ribbon? There are so many ways to make snowflakes on our pages and projects...and we want to see them all!
Call 2: Baby New Year - Bring on the Babies! Share your favorite baby layouts with us. Make us coo!
Call 3: Suits Me To A 'Tea'-Did you know that January is recognized as 'Hot Tea' month? When I think of tea, I think of tea parties, bridal showers, or anything that is just floral and frilly. With that in mind, share with us your dainty layouts, cards, and altered projects that feature tea parties, bridal showers, or designs that exude what a tea party should look like to you.
Call 4: All a flutter. Show us how you used butterflies in a fun and unique way on your layouts.
Call 5: Pack in the photos! Share your layouts with at least 3 photos per page.
January 2011 Article Calls - Fixtures
Chic Street: Soft, delicate colors are hot right now!!! Show us layouts using pastels.
U-Turn: New Year, New Beginnings, New...Uses? Show us how you repurpose something old and make it new!
Open Road: Put the focus on your journaling! Raise your voice! Create a layout and tell a story in your strongest voice. Are you typically sarcastic, funny, serious, mushy? Be sure your journaling reflects who you are!
Easy Street: Ringing in the new year! Share with me your simple layouts about your plans for 2011 or perhaps your resolutions!
Card Corner: Little known holidays are a great source of inspiration for cards. Did you know that January boasts both Amelia Earhart Day and Christa McAuliffe Day? Celebrate the spirit of these great women by creating a card featuring a form of air travel (airplanes, space shuttles, hot air balloons, etc.)
Deadline is midnight on October 31 ... for all calls.
Please send your work to submissions@scrapstreet.com.

And I have a layout to share with you today too. It was in the September issue of ScrapStreet.

I am so grateful that I made this layout because it forced me to upload the pics on my camera. Like a week later, I dropped and shattered my phone and all were gone!

Supplies: Paper: Studio Calico, Making Memories, BoBunny Press, Grungeboard: Tim Holtz, Alphabet: Making Memories, October Afternoon, Rub-Ons: BasicGrey, Tags: The Girls' Paperie, Stickers: BoBunny Press, Paint: Scribbles, Specialty Ink: Tattered Angels, Floss: DMC, Font: American Typewriter, Adhesive: Helmar.

Ok...hope you have a fantastic day...and seriously, submit!!!
