Hip Hop!!!

Oh yeah! Oh yeah! It's my birthday. Ok...it's not...but it feels like it is!!! :) Today is Hip Hop and I get to participate!!! Yep...you know what that means...I AM ON THE DT!!!!!!!!!!!! Again I say Oh Yeah! :) In case you have absolutely no clue what I am talking about...I'm talking about Unity Stamp Company. You've seen me post many projects using their stamps, and now I have been asked to be on the Scrapbook Design Team for them!

You'll want to start Hip Hop at the Unity Blog. If you came from Jennifer then you are in the right place. :)

Here's my layout that I am sharing with you today...

All my papers are from My Mind's Eye's new Lost and Found collection. :) Here are some close up's:

Here you can see how I used the Vintage Banners stamp set. This is hands down one of my favorite stamp sets...I use it a lot. :)

And on the background, I stamped some flowers from Insightful Meadows several times. That stamp on the photo comes from She Sprouted Wings.

Then those spots in the middle of my fans were cut from a image that I stamped using She Sprouted Wings again.

And finally, you see that wonderful women with wings stamp, also from the She Sprouted Wings stamp set. :)

And how would you like to win something today???

Just leave me a comment and you could win this:

Winner will be announced tomorrow (along with the Back to School blog hop winners).

ScrapStreet is the best!

Did you know that ScrapStreet has over 10,000 subscribers? And over a MILLION hits a month on the magazine! I have heard people say that they don't submit to online magazines, only print ones. But why would you not want to be part of a magazine that has that many followers? It is seriously THE BEST online magazine out there! I thought that even before I became part of the team. :)

So check out the current magazine here.

And did you notice that AMAZING layout on the cover? It is stamped! It was a submission for my "Get Your Stamp On" article, but landed on the cover instead. :)

Do you want to be on the cover of the magazine AND win a wonderful prize, check out this post here.

And here are our current calls, there's still time to submit, they are due August 30th.

So hope you all submit, submit, submit!!!

Thought I would share a few projects that I did that were in the July issue of ScrapStreet. It was for an article about Whimsy Stamps.

For details and supplies on these projects, check out that article.

I'm off. :) Hope you have a wonderful day...and I hope you check out the August issue of ScrapStreet and then submit!

Helmar and Cosmo Cricket

I gotta tell you...I was thrilled when I discovered that my Helmar box of goodies included the Joy Ride collection from Cosmo Cricket! So today I get to share a layout that I made using both of these awesome manufacturers.

I seriously LOVE this line. :) I just used Helmar Premium Craft Glue to adhere everything. I'll let you in on a secret about that....this glue lasts forever. It's all I have left of my Helmar glue because I used everything else! :)

Here are some close up's:

Today the weather here is a bit gloomy which seems to have brightened my mood. :) I know...I'm weird. We went on a nice walk without the sun shining in our eyes and with the cool breeze...so nice! I hope it rains too. I love the rain. Well I'm off to have a GOOD day! :)

Hope you have a FABULOUS day yourself!

Supplies for "Worth It" layout:
Papers and Chipboard--Cosmo Cricket, Letter Stickers--Jillibean Soup, Buttons--Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker, Floss--DMC, Computer Font--Big Caslon, Adhesive--Helmar.

Back to School Day 4

**The following giveaways are still open: 2 on Back to School Day 1, Back to School day 2, and Back to School day 3.

And we have reached our final day of the Back to School blog hop. :) Hope you have enjoyed it! Here's my project for the day:

I took a cheap white board and altered it. I made a frame to go around it. I put magnets on the back too so I can put it on my refrigerator. I can keep track of homework or mark who has finished their homework on it. I plan to make it more like a chart...have spots for M-F and my boys names...then the can x it off when they finish their homework for the day.

Here are some close up's:

And now for today's RAK...it's the new Togetherness line from Cosmo Cricket:

I can't wait to play with this line myself. :) All you have to do to be eligible to win is leave a comment on this post! :)
