Back to School Day 2

* Scroll down for the FWF post.
** There is still time to comment here for a chance to win an Echo Park or October Afternoon line.

Hi everyone! Today I have some really simple projects to share with you, and of course...another chance to win. :)

Last year, my son was always complaining that he couldn't find a pencil to do his homework. This year, I will have this stash of pencils in the kitchen. :) This altered baby formula can seriously took me like 5 minutes to do...nothing too hard at all. The best glue around for this kind of stuff is Helmar's Premium Craft Clue...works like a charm.

And then the boys helped me with these tags..

We are going to put them on their backpacks. I was a little surprised when they picked the butterflies, but that's ok. :) We dropped Glimmer Glaze from Tattered Angels on the acrylic butterflies and then allowed them to dry overnight. In the morning, we added letters for their names and a few gems. The boys love them and they are super simple. In fact they are wanting us to make more...for everything! :)

And now we come to today's RAK. All of the RAKS I will be doing will be open til August 27th. Today's RAK is the August kit from Scarlet Lime...

All you have to do to be eligible to win is leave a comment on this post! :) But you can help us out by spreading the word about our fun 4 day Back to School blog hop.

And remember, you can also still win the Report Card collection from October Afternoon. :) There will be one lucky winner chosen from comments on all 3 of the blogs from all 4 days. :) So visit everyday and comment on all three blogs for the best chance!

Here are the other two blogs to check out:

Also, we would love for you to share your Back to School projects with us! I will put up a link to it on my next post. :)

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!

Love your pencil box! I help in a refugee center, where every child gets pencil and pen at the beginning of the school year. But after a few week they all seem to have lost or forgotten it. Such a box can be a great idea! Greetings from Belgium, Annelies

Planning on making something similar like this for each of my boys new teachers. I am trying to decide between cutting down a couple Pringles cans or using the plastic frosting cans....

Very cute! TFS
