Too Fast

It happens too fast.

We all know it.
We hear it all the time.

But our kids just grow up too fast.

Last month I did a layout for the Fancy Pants blog. It was for a post featuring the Baby Minecollection from Fancy Pants. You may have already seen it. It was really fun because I put pictures of my son on it from all ages and it was so cool to see how he changed over the years.

Here's the layout:

I used the fantastic "Cards" piece of paper from that collection as the inspiration for this layout. I did cut out each piece as well as the numbers on them. I popped up the numbers with some Liquid Scrap Dots from Helmar. The rest of the layout was put together using their 450 Quick Dry adhesive.

Here are some close up's:

I just ADORE the cute chipboard pieces from this collection...like that monkey and sun!

This was something new for me. I made the letters stand out a bit more by backing them with brown patterned paper and then cutting around them. I also curled the sides up a bit.

Wow. Seriously. He's 8 now. I can't believe it. I am so proud of him. Man I love that kid! :)

LOVE YOU AUSTIN!

Have a great day everyone!

So dang cute! I have seen another done something like this except it was one of those trays with 12 spots in it and they used it for school photos....in the spaces where they did not yet have photos they just popped in some cute patterned paper until the child re4ached that age in school. So many cute ways to work this theme....ans I love yours!!!
