If you have little kids, you probably know exactly what I am talking about. But if you don't, remember those days of playing Memory....the game where you try to turn over two matching cards. Well it's one of those games that has lasted throughout time...it still is fun and serves a purpose. We've got my little one trying to play it already (she may be a bit young). But we didn't buy it. I made it. And it was EASY! :) Here's the game I made. I made it using the Harmony line from My Little Shoebox.
That tin was just an empty tin from Maya Road.
All the pieces of just cut from cardboard. I then added a piece of paper on each side. My image is stamped on them in pairs, using MLS stamps.
It already gets a lot of use. Eryn loves playing with it, even if she doesn't quite get it. :)
I used Helmar Adhesives to put the whole thing together with Helmar Premium Craft Glue.
Speaking of Helmar...are you a fan on facebook? If not, you better join. And they are giving away a prize over there right now, so head on over and comment! :)
Hope you have a terrific day!!!
