More Wall Art

Just a little something for Eryn's room. It's super simple. I got these frames (came in a set of 3) at Target in the dollar spot section (they were $2.50). Pretty good deal. I painted them white and then slipped a piece of patterned paper in the frames (background papers from Making Memories and Creative Imaginations). Then I took apart a Butterfly Coaster Album from Maya Road and just used the chipboard butterflies. I covered them with patterned paper (new stuff from My Little Shoebox) and sanded the edges. Then I just put the butterfly on the front of the whole thing. :) Like I said...simple.

Funny story: when I was hanging them, Austin was watching. I asked him if he liked them, and he hesitated then told me that he didn't understand why there were houses and trees and hearts on them. He said the striped one looked ok, but it was the only one. :) Butterflies don't have trees on them! I thought it was funny. :)

By the way, I used this same Butterfly Coaster Album for the card I previously posted here (the first one).

oh thanks pam, and thats a good price. I think these would make great RAK to my blog friends. We've been moving for the last 6 months so lost track of the scrap world. I dont have any clue about the new lines or any of that.

PS you have to just love little kids view of the world, i love the little tree butterfly myself.

This is so adorable. I saw these frames on several occassions, picked them up & then put them back wondering what I would do w/them. Now I see yours & know, but they're all gone:(

I have those frames -- have been holding on to them for some unbeknownst reason. I love this idea SOOO much, and since we're ttc, if we have a girl, I think I may just totally lift this project. Way cute!
