Cut it out!!!

I love cutting pieces of my paper out. I do it all the time. But you know what else I love doing....using the paper with the pieces cut out. :) Here are two layouts I did so you can see what I am talking about.

Those yellow clouds were cut out of another piece of paper. Here are a bunch of close up's of that layout:

And then here is the next layout. This layout uses the yellow piece of paper that I cut the clouds out of.

You can see that I didn't do a perfect job of cutting out the clouds...but it didn't matter! Here are several close up's of that layout:

All the papers, stickers and chipboard are from Pebbles, Inc. The letter stickers on the first layout and the foam letters on the second layout are from My Little Shoebox. On the second layout I also used some goodies from Tattered Angels: those palm trees, but the acrylic one and the stamp are from Tattered Angels.

Here's a quick and easy card too...

Oh...and I almost forgot...

I owe you a winner from the MLS blog hop. :) And the winner is...

Send your address to pamelacy@msn.com and I will get this mailed out to you! Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful comments! :)

Hope you have a fantastic day!!!!!

Scrap and Stamp Saturday

Hi everyone! The challenge is up at Scrap and Stamp Saturday. The challenge this week is to make a two page layout that includes stamping. Here's my layout:

I used papers and chipboard from Pebbles, and stamps from Unity Stamp Company. The stamp set I used is called Photo Love. Here are some close up's:

Hope you guys play along with the challenge this week! :)

So I am guess I am going to be shopping for new glasses. :( Eryn broke my glasses...my favorite glasses ever...yep, my bad luck continues. Well today I found out that the frame was discontinued and no long available. I am so sad about this! So now I need to find new ones that I like...when really all I want are my old ones back. Wish me luck.

Scrap and Stamp Saturday

**Don't forget my giveaway in the post below**

Hello! Hope you are having a fantastic weekend so far. The challenge for this week at Scrap and Stamp is to make a page that includes stamping on an embellishment (chipboard, flowers, buttons, ribbon...). Our sponsor is Pebbles and they sent each of the DT something to play with. :) So here's my page with papers and stickers from Pebbles and stamping on chipboard and felt:

Close up's:

I used a stamp set from Pink Paislee. And those chipboard letters are from Maya Road. I tried to make it look more comic-book-y but I am not sure I succeed. Everything is so big on the page! Definitely different than what I usually do. :)

Well I do hope you play along with us!!! Check out the challenge and prize here.

Have a great Saturday!!!

SSCC 8

This week at Stampin' Sisters in Christ our scripture verse is

Jeremiah 1:5:
"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb."

Isn't it amazing! Take a moment and think about God...our sovereign Lord...who created the world...who is able to do all things...our MAJESTIC Lord, the King of all kings! Now think about us...little old us. Just the mere fact that God knows us at all is AMAZING! And believe me...He does! HE KNOWS YOU just as He knows me. He sees us, He loves us and He knows us like nobody else can. And He knew each one of us before we were even born. HE is SOOOO good!

The Challenge

The challenge this week is to make a baby card or other item for a new baby or expecting parent. This challenge came at a perfect time for me. I have a good friend who is going to pop any minute. :) So I made a gift bag to take to the hospital when he does arrive.

The papers I used are from Pebbles, Inc. and the stamps are from Unity Stamp Company. Here are some close up's:

I do hope you choose to play along, you never know when you may need a baby card. :)

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

I know...I know....

I owe you a winner. :)

So here it is, the winner is......

So Amy, please send me your address (pamelacy@msn.c0m) and I will get this Scarlet Lime kit mailed out to you. :)

Thanks to everyone for the comments! More giveaways will come soon. :)

And just to post something else, here's a layout I made. It uses papers, stickers, and ribbon from Pebbles, Inc. :)

This was our first picture as a family of 5. It was taken just before Austin's Kindergarten "graduation" last Spring. That little pic is started to bug me though....I may have to straighten it. :)

Hope you have a fabulous Tuesday!!!

Where is my head?

Can't really seem to get into the routine. And I know....I owe you all pictures AND a RAK! And I will get to it, I promise. I also have to get to the unpacking, the laundry, the grocery shopping, the school-supply shopping, the cleaning, the scrap assignments......

So maybe I should go get to work on something...
in the meantime, here is a layout I made using Pebbles, Inc. products. :)

The pictures were taken on the first day of school and then the last day of school. I love the long title. I don't usually do that, but I should do it more often because I love it.

I'll be back....

I'm back...

but exhausted!!!!!

I fully had intended on posting stuff while I was gone. But I was never able to. Most of Yellowstone had no phone service at all. AND then my BRAND NEW iPhone stopped working completely right before we were at Old Faithful (where apparently people were able to talk on phones and access the internet on them). Oh well...sorry.

I did have an awesome time, but we went with my family...and I love them to death but they are GO, GO, GO! Never a moment to relax...and you'd think a vacation in Yellowstone would at least be a little relaxing. LOL...oh well...I did get a lot of exercise and I saw some AMAZING things.

So here is one of the layouts I was planning on posting while I was gone:

Kelby says he doesn't really like it...that's it's not me...too simple. But hey, I like it. :) The conversation is hilarious, definitely something I wanted to record. Those fabulous speech bubbles are from Shabby Chic Crafts. I actually won these as a RAK from a fellow scrapper's blog. :)

Scrapbooks Etc is having a challenge right now to scrap a conversation. That's what I made this page for...and I may make another one. Check it out here.

Supplies:
Cardstock--Bazzill, Paper--Pebbles, Inc, Speech Bubbles--Shabby Chic Crafts, Chipboard--Maya Road and Pebbles, Inc., Gems--Prima Marketing, Paint--Making Memories and thread--DMC.

Hip Hop Hangover (and day 5 of Unity!)

Well once again we have come to a Hip Hop Hangover Friday and it's the last day of my week of Unity projects. Hope you have enjoyed it. Make sure you check out the specials on Angela's blog.

As our anniversary approaches, I have been thinking a lot lately about marriage, our marriage, and Kelby. Marriages today often don't seem to last or have both people happy with it, so I think every year is an accomplishment and should be celebrated! The truth is, there have been so many different times where I could have easily given up. But everything we have been through together has made us stronger. Even our fights have strengthened our marriage. I don't want a life without this man.

So, of course, I made a layout. :) Because that is what I do.

And some close up's:

And....

The winner from yesterday is....

Email me your address (pamelacy@msn.com) so I can pass it along and you can get your stamp! :)

Happy Friday everyone!!!!!

Another Canvas

Yep...another one of my fun canvas projects.  I just love doing these.  This one I made as a gift for my sister and her boyfriend who just got a house together.  So this was my house-warming gift to them.  :)

The sun is paint mixed with molding paste.  And see that bottom left hand corner...I transfered some patterned paper!  That was fun.  :)  The papers and stickers are all from Pebbles Inc.
