Flip Flop Hip Hop

Well today is Thursday, so that means it is time for Unity's Hip Hop!!! But we're changing it up today...today we are doing a Flip Flop Hip Hop!!! What's that? Well we switched things up a bit and the Unity design team will be playing with Ippity stamps and the Ippity design team will be showcasing Unity stamps. Isn't it fun!!! You'll want to start the hop at the Unity Blog. If you came from Wendy then you are in the right place. :)

Here's my layout that I am sharing today...it's a bit different. :)

That huge chipboard owl was meant to be the cover of a mini album (by Magistical Memories)...but I am so much more of a layout girl then a mini album person, but I loved the owl...so I used it on my page! :) I stamped on the owl. Did you notice I also used that same stamp on my background to essentially create my own shaped paper?

The stamp sets I used are:

The papers are all from Echo Park Paper Company. :)

Here are some close up's for you...

And I do have the most darling stamp set to give away today. :) All you need to do is leave a comment on this blog post and you could win this stamp set:

And now it's time to hop on to the lovely Natalie.

Next Blog

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!

Lookin' Fancy

I got admit...I think it is SO adorable when kids dress up. Little boys in suits....love it! So naturally, I enjoy our Easter tradition of dressing up. I don't like dressing up myself so much. But I LOVE dressing the kids up. :) Here's a layout I made with them looking all fancy. And fancy this...I used Fancy Pants Designs for my fancy layout. :)

I did this layout for the Helmar blog post today. I used Helmar Premium Craft Glue to adhere everything. I used the same glue and covered my large heart with it. Then I laid my yarn over the heart...just laid in on top of the adhesive. Here are some close up's:

You want to know a secret...I totally over-inked my "You" stamp so when I stamped it I smudged ink in the middle of the y. That is why I placed a heart there. :) Just being honest.

If you want to learn how I made that bow...check out the Helmar blog today. I will post directions there....it's super simple.

Here are all the Helmar preferred partners I used on my layout:

Hope you have a wonderful, fantastic day. :)

Cut it out!!!

I love cutting pieces of my paper out. I do it all the time. But you know what else I love doing....using the paper with the pieces cut out. :) Here are two layouts I did so you can see what I am talking about.

Those yellow clouds were cut out of another piece of paper. Here are a bunch of close up's of that layout:

And then here is the next layout. This layout uses the yellow piece of paper that I cut the clouds out of.

You can see that I didn't do a perfect job of cutting out the clouds...but it didn't matter! Here are several close up's of that layout:

All the papers, stickers and chipboard are from Pebbles, Inc. The letter stickers on the first layout and the foam letters on the second layout are from My Little Shoebox. On the second layout I also used some goodies from Tattered Angels: those palm trees, but the acrylic one and the stamp are from Tattered Angels.

Here's a quick and easy card too...

Oh...and I almost forgot...

I owe you a winner from the MLS blog hop. :) And the winner is...

Send your address to pamelacy@msn.com and I will get this mailed out to you! Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful comments! :)

Hope you have a fantastic day!!!!!
