Skipping Stones Sketch and Fancy Pants Wave Searcher

Hi everyone!!!  Thanks for stopping in today.  I gotta admit, I have been SUPER busy for awhile now, and things are finally slowing down.  I plan to enjoy that.  :)  Dreaming of curling up on the couch with a good book.  We'll see how things go.

Anyways...

Today is my last sketch as guest designer over at Skipping Stones Design.   Here's the sketch I came up with:

And this is the card I created...it is a little bit different.

The stamp set I used for this card is called Uplifting.  And the papers and chipboard are all from Fancy Pants Designs' new Summer Soul collection.

Come play along with this challenge here.

** And just in case I haven't mentioned it before, you do NOT have to have any Skipping Stones Design stamps to participate in the sketch challenge.  So come play with us!  :)

And now I have some more new Fancy Pants projects to share.  Yesterday we featured the Wave Searcher collection on the Fancy Pants blog.  Here are a couple projects from me:

I really love the way this layout turned out.  Pulled out my good and faithful circle punch once again.  :)

Here are some close up's of my layout:

And I also have a cute card to share that uses this collection.  :)

Make sure you stop by the Fancy Pants blog to see what others have created with this cool collection.  :)

And for those of you who watched the Bachelor last night...did you even see that coming?  Maybe it was just me, but that girl was my favorite.  Hmmm....  Do you guys watch The Bachelor?  Just curious.

Have a FANTASTIC day!!!!

Great layout and cards Pam, I wish I was as good as you in making sketches! I tried it a couple of times and figured out I'd rather be "gut shot". LOL Love Penny

As a New England girl, I have to say you're right on about the beaches in Maine. :) Thank you so much for the FP inspiration. I'm looking forward to getting this collection.

What a neat sketch for a card! And I love how you used the beach collection in a not-so-typical beachy way. :)

Great stuff! I love how you write your blog. Now.. the important stuff.... The Bachelor???

OMG. He is making me crazy!!! The way he makes out with ALL of the women, it's like he's going for it while he can. It's the dirtiest Bachelor I've ever seen... and that's saying something. As for the girl he voted off? She was one of my two faves too. But the star of the show... Courtney. Ugh. UGH. UGHUGHUGH. Have I said that enough? I think that she's just trying to become this season's nasty... but she's doing it so well. The one good thing? He didn't get rid of the girl Courtney wanted gone.
So yeah... I watched last night. LOL
