Inspiration is everywhere!!!!

I say it all the time, but I will say it again...inspiration is all around us! And I love that! Last month on the Fancy Pants blog, I did a post about being inspired by the everyday life. I spent a lot of time on the couch then, first sick, and then with my leg. There was one day when I was looking at the ordinary view from the couch and got inspired...I snapped this picture with my phone:

I saw the cool design the light was making above the curtains. I could also see photos instead of the curtains and a basic sketch in my head. So I took the photo with my phone and later made this page based on the inspiration:

I hope you can see the design in my layout. I not only was inspired by the design, but was also inspired to play with light a bit. I just love the photos I used. I just hand cut those pieces that I used above and below the photos. I used a little bit from several of Fancy Pants' collections, including Saint Nick, Summer's End, and Off to School.

Here are some close up's of my layout:

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope you are inspired to actively look around you and see what inspiration you can find! Have a fabulous day!

Isn't it fun to look at something totally unrelated and come up with an idea? Or is that what we call addicted? Wonderful LO and thanks for sharing where your inspiration comes from! Becky

inspiration IS everywhere...I once did a LO with my ugly, out-dated bathroom tile as inspiration (see here... http://www.kellystarsallthingscrafty.blogspot.com/2010/11/if-its-groovy-my-dt-swan-song.html
