10 in 10

So it's the last day of 2010. Can you believe it? This year just flew by. And I've seen lots of people posting their top ten layouts for the year. Thought that was a great idea....so here I go (in no particular order).

Here are MY top ten layouts for 2010:

As I put them all here...I realize that NONE of my favorites were ever picked up for publication. Go figure. :)

Have a wonderful and SAFE New Year's Eve everyone!
Happy New Year!!!!!

Last Chance Hip Hop

It's Thursday...which means Hip Hop! You'll want to start the hop at the Unity Blog.

But first...thank you to everyone for the comments on yesterday's post. I hope I didn't sound like I was complaining. But your comments sure made me feel loved. :) So thank you! Seriously.

And back to my Unity post.

Today we are all sharing projects that use the December Kit of the Month. If you are not a KOM subscriber...you should definitely check it out! I LOVE the monthly kits from Unity. AND there are so many perks and discounts simply for being a subscriber. Check out more information here.

Here's what this month's kit looks like:

And here is a layout that I made:

My son is notorious for hiding when I tell him to pick up. Then he falls asleep. I'll send him to his room to clean it and check on him (like 15 minutes later!) and he will be in his bed sound asleep. It's crazy. Kinda funny...kinda irritating, but it is definitely "Hayden" and I wanted to document it.

I used papers, trims and stickers from Webster's Pages.

Here are some close up's of my layout:

You can win some fabulous prizes today by commenting on the blogs and/or in the Hip Hop thread. Winners will be chosen randomly. Check out the deets on the Unity blog.

So I hope you have been leaving comments on all the blogs in the hop and popping in on the Hip Hop chat thread to say hi. :)

And now it's time to hop on to the lovely Natalie.

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!! (Almost New Year's Eve!)

MIA, CHA and LOA

Sorry I have been MIA, but wow...you guys are tough...I took a few days off for the holidays and lost 4 followers. Oh well. Some things are more important huh?

Well I hope you did have a wonderful time of holidays and fun. We sure did. We enjoyed Christmas...and then the next two days were just awesome. We laid around the house, watched tv, played games, read new books...and stayed in our PJ's pretty much all day. We all need days like that.

I have a bunch of My Little Shoebox to share with you. All of these use the "Summer Breeze" line from MLS.

First, a layout from last CHA (more about the Winter CHA to come):

That heart is just a collage of diecuts and scrap paper. I used Helmar adhesives...used the 450 Quick Dry for most everything and then popped the birds up with the Liquid Scrap Dots. Here are the close up's:

And here is another layout where I played a lot with die cuts. :)

For this layout I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry, Zapdots and Liquid Scrap Dots.

And my close up's:

And then I just LOVE the way this layout turned out...

The pictures are of hubby dipping the boys in the river and getting their hair wet. I used the Helmar 450 Quick Dry and the Liquid Scrap Dots again. Here are the close up's:

And finally, a card:

That pink is the backside of the banner paper. I had previously cut a banner out, and I liked the way it looked so I left it like that. :)

SO....

Winter CHA is quickly approaching! And yep...I will be there again. :) Very excited about this. I will once again be at the MLS booth, so stop by and say hi if you are there. I am already starting to work on projects and I can't wait to share all the new stuff with you all.

And in case you are wondering about my blog post title, the LOA stands for...wait for it....nothing. :) I just thought I should have another 3 letter acronym that ended in "A". Perhaps we should say it stands for layouts aplenty. :)

Ok...have a wonderful day!!!

Hip Hop

It's Thursday...which means Hip Hop! You'll want to start the hop at the Unity Blog.

I have a couple things to share with you today. The first is a layout. And I gotta tell you...I think it is my most favorite layout EVER! :) I posted on facebook about it yesterday...and I hope I didn't hype it up too much....don't want you all lookin' at it and thinking "THAT is her favorite layout????" :) But the truth is...even if you don't like it, I love it. :)

It uses the Christmas Delivery stamp set from Unity and Webster's Pages. Can't get enough of those wonderful Unity/Webster's stamps.

Here's my layout:

All the papers, trims, and that cool berry thing are from Webster's Pages. Can you tell I love their stuff? I used Helmar adhesives to put it all together. I used the 450 Quick Dry for everything but I used Zapdots on the house part to lift it up and then some Liquid Scrap Dots on my tiny picture by the berry thing and the frame around the "holiday cheer". :)

Here are some close up's of my layout:

And I also have another project to share with you. It is another Christmas gift...this one for my MIL. I did up one of those fancy photo trays (painter trays) that 7 Gypsies sells....you know what I am talking about, they are all the rave right now. ;)

I again used Webster's Pages and the new "Christmas Delivery" stamp set. I also used a little of the "Believe in Miracles" stamp set.

Here it is:

Even though I used Christmas stamps and Christmas papers, I tried to make it look like it could be everyday, so it can hang on the wall all year long.

And here are some close up's:

I used the Helmar Premium Craft glue to adhere everything on this project.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
