Well hello there! Today Ruby Rock-It is hopping with Scrap FX. So if you just happened upon my blog, why don't you join in and start the hop here. If you came from Misty's blog, then you are in the right place. :) And this is actually day 2 in the hop, so if you missed day 1, go here for that.
And what is a blog hop without some prizes? So here's what is up for grabs:
That is the beautiful new At Last collection from Ruby Rock-It, and a whole bunch of fantastic chipboard goodies from Scrap FX. I think this is the same bag I received from them and let me tell you, it is AWESOME! :)
Here's how you can win: ** Visit each participating designer's blog each day on the hop & leave a comment. There are only 11 - 12 blogs each day, so it's VERY do-able! {make sure you include your email address so we can contact you if you win} For additional chances to win, check out the Ruby Rock-It blog. Deadline to leave comments for prizes 11:59pm EST, Monday, August 19th. Winners will be announced on Scrap FX and Ruby Rock-It blogs on Tuesday, August 20th! If you get lost along the way, you will be able to find a complete list of participating blogs each day here at Ruby Rock-it and over at Scrap FX!
Today I am sharing a layout that uses the At Last collection from Ruby Rock-It and several pieces of chipboard from Scrap FX including the Large Scribble Heart, part of the Memories Words set, and the fabulous Flutterby H Curly Feelers.
Yep...a layout using a wedding collection and a large heart and it is not about romance or weddings. :)
Here are some close up's of my layout:
I like how it turned out. :) Did you read the journaling? A thrill-seeker she is not. ;)
So...
Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Pattie Beltran.
Thanks for stopping in!
Have a fabulous day!

oh no! She doesn't like Disneyland? That would make me sad too because I love amusement parks! This layout is beautiful. I love all of the layered elements you have here and the fact that you stitched your own mickey ears! :)
I just adore your LO! That heart is amazing!!
Oh poor baby doesn't like Disney??! Perhaps when she is a bit bigger it'll grow on her ;) Your LO is beautiful and a sweet documentation of this moment though. Love your hand stitching.

I love the simple lines on this layout but looking closely it is a very complex piece...beautiful! My email address is Lainie1130@gmail.com
Lovely layout for your sweet little girl!
Love what you did with the interlocking hearts! wonderful! love the blog hop!
Love your layout...pretty colors.
Tell your daughter she is not alone...I don't like anything about Disneyland. I would never go either. Great that you did a layout on something that is important to her but the subject is not happy. We tend to document happy events only.
Your daughter sounds like she knows her own mind...a good thing in this day and age...she won't be unduly influenced by her peers. Love the scribbly heart and the stitching :)
