Stickers and Glue.

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping in!

Today I have a layout to share with you, but first I wanted to discuss something with you...stickers. I used to shy away from them, thinking they were too "old fashioned". But now I find myself using them over and over again on my layouts and projects. I like them thicker, and then they can be used instead of fussy cutting something out of paper or even instead of chipboard. What do you all think of stickers? Do you use them often?

On my layout that I am sharing today, I popped the stickers up with some Liquid Scrap Dots from Helmar. LOVE that stuff! And I really like the 3D look it gives to the stickers. It comes in a squeeze bottle and looks like this:

I know you can buy it here at Two Peas or here at Scrap-Tastic. I prefer to use this versus the foam dots many companies have because you can vary the height a lot easier (just add a little, or pop it up a lot) and it works very well. It does take longer to dry though, so I usually do this last, and allow to dry overnight. But I seriously always have to have an extra tube on hand in case I run out. I use it a lot.

Anyways....so here's my layout:

This layout uses the fantastically fun Life of the Party collection from BasicGrey! I am so lovin' this collection lately, definitely a favorite for me. :)

Here are some close up's of my layout:

I did use more adhesive from Helmar to put the rest of the layout together, I used the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. This is what I use for most of my projects. It works like a charm and never wrinkles or warps my papers. :)

It had been a little while since I talked about adhesive, so I wanted to mention it again. :) I know there are lots of adhesives out there, but I will probably always be a Helmar girl. Which adhesive do you prefer? Seriously, shout it out!

Have a fantastic day!

My ATG for most stuff. But I have a bottle of the 450 Quick dry for dimensionals, etc.

Dying to get my hands on the liquid scrap dots. Need to get past a few financial things first. :)

Love your LO today. I've never used the liquid pop dots but they sound like something I would enjoy except......... the waiting bit! I have recently been gifted with some Beacon adhesive that I've been enjoying using. Works like hot glue but not hot. Like that as I've had my share of burns from the hot glue. One on my lip even one time. A result of getting a glob on my finger and sticking it in my mouth! Ouch!

Beautiful page...I have only just got into using stickers a little more (since reading a tip about sticking them on paper and cutting them out...so you can play about with their placement)...so I do try and use them more often now :)

I am going to have to try that product, never heard of it before now but it sounds awesome!

I do use stickers a lot and I love them, especially word and flower and label stickers.

Your layout looks great. Did you try for Basic Grey? Cause you really use their stuff so well.

I {heart} Helmar! I used the adhesive runner, 450 Quick Dry, Scrap Dots and Zap Dots the most, but also love their Acid Free, Craft Glue, 2 step crackle, V2 and Gemstone glue. They have the perfect glue for every project. Seriously!

Love this layout Pamela. You have such great composition and I love all your little details. I am a Helmar girl too! Love that stuff so much but admit to have having some Zip Dry as back up. I have such a hard time getting over having to pay shipping so unless I find a good deal or win some, I just buy my Zip Dry.
