The challenge at Scrap and Stamp is up! The challenge this week is a sketch challenge AND you must use stamping on your layout. :) Here's the sketch we were given:
The sketch comes from Pencil Lines. And here is what I did for the challenge:
I have been getting the Studio Calico kit for quite awhile. I'm bad at just using the kit though, usually I just take it all out and put it with the rest of my stash. I challenged myself to just use my "Joyland" kit this time. I also used a stamp from The Stamping Boutique, who is our sponsor this week at Scrap and Stamp. I just fell in love with that kitchen shelf image. :)
I again used Helmar Adhesives to put my layout together. I mainly used the Quick Fix Adhesive Runner. But I also was dying to try out the Liquid Scrap Dots. The Liquid Scrap Dots can be used to pop stuff off your page. Here is what I love about Helmar's Liquid Scrap Dots...you can make your stuff pop a little or a lot..whatever you want. I often think the usual pop up adhesive strips are thicker then I want them. I just want a little pop. :) Course, there are also times when I want it to pop more then they allow. With the Liquid Scrap Dots you get to choose...I love that. So I made one of my border strips pop just a little. :) Here are some close up's of my layout:
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!!! And I hope you play along with us at Scrap and Stamp. :)
