Some more

Ready for some more?  :)  These are two more layouts I did for the Make It Yours challenges at Scrapooks, Etc.

This one is of all people I know that inspire me to be a better person.  They all have flaws...I could list a bunch for you (well except maybe Frank, top left).  But they all inspire me in different ways.  They are great people who are doing great things.  I was planning on including more journaling, but then I felt it wasn't needed...it was one of the "enough said" kind of moments.

And then these are pictures from Halloween 2006!   Ahhh...they were still in the cute costumes then.

Supplies for "Inspire Me" layout:
Papers, gems and pearls--Prima Marketing, Stickers--Sassafras Lass, Journaling spot--Creative Chaos, Labels--Creative Imaginations, Paint--Making Memories.

Supplies for "2 Cute" layout:
Papers--Pink Paislee and Sassafras Lass, Chipboard--Bo Bunny (swirl) and Chatterbox (frame), Letter stickers--Pink Paislee, Brads--Pink Paislee, Paint--Making Memories and Scribbles.

Thought I would post some digital layouts that I made lately.  :)

This was just a layout I made for fun.  It uses Audrey Neal's Just Be You kit.  You can find that here.

And this layout I made for the weekly digital challenge at 2peas last week.  :)

More MLS love :)

So I did make another layout for the My Little Shoebox + 2 peas contest I was telling you about. I used pictures I took on Easter morning. Check out the boys and their ties. :) They look so handsome! I couldn't get Austin to hold Eryn in a way where you could actually see her...oh well. I did take some cute pictures of her though. Anyways, here is the layout:

I am seriously having fun with their papers (MLS). You only have until tomorrow to upload for the contest. I may try to do another layout tonight...we'll see. :)

My Dream

So it is 2am on Easter morning.  I just woke up, and had to get up to write this down.  I was having a dream.  In my dream...I was sinning.  I was disappointed with myself.  Then it flashed to another scene.  It was Satan and he said "See, even on THIS day, I can get her to sin."  Then I heard "and even on this day, I can forgive."  And it ended, all abrupt.  It felt really significant.

It's not about me.

It's about Him.

ScrapLovers Reveals Part 1

Oh, it was a challenge for me this month.  :)  My DT kit from ScrapLovers included the wonderful "Ever After" papers from Cosmo Cricket, the embellishments from the "Girl Friday" line from Cosmo Cricket (does NOT really go with the Ever After line) and then some cardstock from Core'dinations (with purple and pink cores).  I took one look at it all and thought "wow...this is going to be tough, none of it goes together."  BUT I LOVE what I did.  :)  It was a challenge, but a good one.  I need to use stuff that doesn't go together more often.

Here's my first layout.  On this one I really tried to use some of it all, and this is my new favorite layout.  :)

I added some of my April DT stuff from Creative Chaos to my layouts, here are close up's of those:

And my second layout doesn't use the Girl Friday embellishments, but I added some of the fabulous sheers from Maya Road, you can find those in the ScrapLovers store here.

Close-up's:

So, maybe you should go to your stash, pick out some of your favorites that DON'T match and make a page.   Maybe you will love the outcome as much as I did.  Have a great weekend everyone!
