Ruby Rock-It and The Twinery

Doesn't that sound like a band or something?  ;)

Well how are you?  Sorry I've disappeared.  Just been busy with life, and summer activities.

So if you are a regular visitor or a newbie...you've come on a very special day.  Today is day two of the Ruby Rock-It and The Twinery blog hop.  If you've just stopped in, I encourage you to begin today's hop here.  If you've come from Jessica's blog, then you are in the right place.

So..hello and welcome to the Ruby Rock-it & The Twinery blog hop!  We are so excited to be partnering with this amazing company this month!

Blog Hop Dates July 8th & 9th

Prize from The Twinery:  Solid Baker's Twine Sampler
Prize from Ruby Rock-it: Carnival King kit

To be eligible for prizes, folks need to visit each blog on the hop and leave a comment.  Deadline for commenting to be eligible for prizes 11:59 EST, Friday July 12th.
Winners will be announced on The Twinery & Ruby Rock-It blogs Monday, July 15th

So today I am just sharing a quick card I made.  I don't know about you, but the cards I love receiving the most are the ones that are totally out of the blue...non-birthday, non-anniversary, non-get well, just because cards.  :)  Maybe you have someone that would appreciate a card for no reason.  Maybe even make an unexpected card for your husband, like this one:

For this card, I used bits and pieces from Ruby Rock-It's Cook collection, Embossed Cardstock (Mother Nature) from Ruby Rock-It,  a flower brad and a couple pearls from Ruby Rock-It, and then the Gunmetal Shimmer twine from The Twinery.

Ok, your next stop on the hop is Stacy!!!
Don't forget to leave your comments along the way.  :)

And to my regular readers:
I'll try to get a new sketch up soon, but in the meantime, I do have a new sketch posted for Ruby Rock-It:

You can participate here.

And, I have a new sketch for Fancy Pants coming soon too.  ;)

I'll also announce a winner soon for the last sketch.

Well thanks so much for stopping in!
Have a wonderful day!!

Pinning the card Pamela, it is lovely! I rarely make cards but this one I will lift and actually send a card to my mom, just because:-)

Pamela, I love your card. I think the the cook from the Cook collection is a nice touch with the flower and bow added to it. Would make a great card to go along with something made from the kitchen for someone.
