Friends With Flair Friday!!! :)

So, once again, it's been a little while since I participated in Friends with Flair...don't know why, I love me some Unity. :) Friends with Flair is a chance for Unity Stamp Company to recognize the work of their customers. And let me tell you, as an avid fan and customer, I sure appreciate that Unity does this! If you want to be involved in Friends with Flair you need to visit the Unity Splitcoast forum on Wednesday morning and sign up for Friends with Flair. Then on Friday you post a project you made that uses Unity Stamp Co. products.

If you aren't familiar with Unity Stamp Company, check them out! They are by far my favorite stamp company! In fact they are my favorite monthly kit. :) If you want to see other projects I have done with Unity stamps, click here. :)

So here is my layout that I made:

I used one of my new favorite stamp sets..."She". It was available only for a limited time through their store and I believe you can no longer get it through them, however you can find it at many other scrapbook stores, including here at Scraplovers. Here are some close up's...

Everything else is from American Crafts (cardstock, papers, chipboard) except the pearls and sequins which are from Prima.

Now that you have seen what I did, why don't you hop over to the Unity blog and visit all of the blogs participating in Friends with Flair today! :) (There's also the chance to win 25 stamps from Unity by doing so!)

Have a fantastic Friday!!!

Flaming Butterflies

What happened to our weather? We were enjoying nice, hot days! Now we have cool, rainy days...we're talking 50's and 60's in July! That's crazy!

Thought I would share some Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker projects today. The ScrapStreet team got to work with Nikki's papers for the June issue. I played with the "Flaming Butterfly" line and these were what I came up with:

I got to admit...at first I was a little intimidated by these papers, but in the end I had a lot of fun! :) And I love trying new manufacturers out...this was the first time I have used any Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker products. Make sure you check out her site...she has a lot of cute lines!

Oh and don't forget to check out the current calls over at ScrapStreet!!!

Hope you all are having a fantastic week!!!

Scrap and Stamp Saturday

Hi all! Where is everyone? Keeping busy with summer? I am still waiting on two winners to contact me, "BlessedInTexas" and "Marlies"...if that is you shoot me your address (pamelacy@msn.com). :) Well, it's Saturday, which means a new challenge over at Scrap and Stamp. The challenge this week is very easy to play along with so I really hope you do! The challenge is to make a scrapbook layout that uses red and includes stamping. Here is the layout I made for the challenge:

I used my stash of My Little Shoebox papers, from a variety of different lines. :) The stamps are all from Unity Stamp Company. Here are some close up's:

I really do hope you play along!!!

Have a fantastic Saturday!

Having a hard time...

getting back into the swing of things. I am used to creating everyday. Then I go on vacation, and I keep thinking "well I just got back, it's ok that I haven't done anything yet" but it's already Thursday!!! Now I have a few projects I have to get done TODAY. I also haven't been online much. Just enjoying life I guess, but I really need to get back into the swing of things. Must figure out how. :)

So, I guess I will share a layout with you that I made awhile back for a call. Didn't get picked up, but now I get to share it with you! :) Oh wait...first, let me start with a public declaration of love. :)

I love this man...

(yep, that is from our vacation...first pic I am sharing...I swear I will post more soon)

(and yep...he is taking a picture of himself in the mirror...ha. Also from our vacation, you can see our messy room.)

We have been married for ten years today! :) This man makes me so happy.

I love you Kelby.

Now on to the layout. :)

I used a leftover chipboard piece from a sheet of chipboard from Rusty Pickle, and I placed it over my cardstock and sprayed glimmer mist. Then I stitched around the shapes. It's kind of a funky background, but I love it! Here are some close up's:

Moving on. :) Guess what I got in the mail yesterday! A *top secret* box from My Little Shoebox. And there is some awesome awesome stuff in there!!! I can't share any of it yet, but here are two sneaks that were on the MLS blog...but trust me, there is a lot more that I can't wait to show you...

And finally, the new issue of ScrapStreet is up...

Check the whole thing out here. And here is a link to my article in it. :) There are many awesome pages and projects in this issue...I do hope you check it out!

Have a fantastic Thursday everyone!!!
