ScrapLovers Reveals

Yep...my last ScrapLovers reveal.  :(  It is been so fun working with them.  Anyway...this month I got to work with the new Fancy Pants products.  You can find them in the store here.  They are such fun papers and I LOVE those journaling pages!  And I am working on a mini to show you too.  :)  Here's two layouts:

And who caught American Idol last night?  Probably everybody.  :)  Yes, it was shocking but I was SO IMPRESSED with the whole show that I didn't even care about the last 5 minutes!  Way to go Idol...fantastic show!!!

I haven't posted here lately.  But I did want to pop in and share that the Lord has really been working on me lately.  :)  He's even given me a new direction in life.  I don't want to share much now but when I can I will!  :)

I know you have heard this verse a million times, but really listen to it this time.  :)

Some Cards and a New Blog

Just wanted to post some quick cards I made for teachers.  Austin "graduates" next week from Kindergarten!  I can't believe how fast this year has flown by.  He started off the school year very shy...not really talking to anyone.  He was super good and would always listen to the teacher.  He is finishing the year with several new friends, a new attitude and he got in trouble for talking too much with friends and not listening to the teacher!  Now, I know I should be upset with him....but you have no idea how amazing that is.  He has friends and he talks!  He's always been super shy around anyone but us.  And he never really makes friends or plays with others, and that was my number one worry about the school year.  But he did great.  He made friends.  :)  So anyways....here's those cards I mentioned:

And I wanted to tell you about a new challenge blog.  

Do you have tons of stamps?  Do you use them?  Ah...but do you use them in scrapbooking pages????  I hear it all the time.  People have stamps, but they rarely use them on their layouts.  If that is the case with you then this is the place for you.  It's called Scrap and Stamp.  They will issue challenges every two weeks.  The first challenge will post on the 6th of June and will run for two weeks. They will have a fabulous sponsor that will announced when the challenge is posted.  :)  I will be there.  It is one of my personal goals to use my stamps more, especially in my scrapbooking.  Hope you will join us!  :)

Season of Change

Man, everything seems to be changing right now.  A lot in my life is changing.  Even in the scrapbooking world.  We are losing magazines, we are losing contests, we are losing stores and sites.  It's sad.  And the same week I got the best news ever (MLS design team) I also got more sad news.  ScrapLovers is closing the forum.  They were the first design team I tried for...and the first one I made.  Christina has been so awesome and generous and I am really going to miss the whole gang there.  But we are ending it all with a big Farewell Crop.  Would love for you to join us...especially if you have ever been a part of the ScrapLovers community.  

I also wanted to show you a couple layouts today.  Today is new release day for Kate Teague over at 2 peas.  She has two new kits for you: Happy Spring and Sunny Days.  Here are two quick layouts I made with those kits:

SC Sketch 143

Wow!  It's a circus here at our house today.  We are getting our roof redone and there is a whole crew of guys working and tearing things up.  And we are getting our air conditioning worked on, so we have that repair man walking about too.  It seems like the doorbell rings every 5 minutes with someone asking some question.  And it is loud!  It sounds kinda like we are in a washing machine or something.  :)

And I am still on a high from being picked for the My Little Shoebox design team!  :)  If you didn't hear about that, scroll down and click on the link.

If you flip it it would kinda look like a building.  You could totally make a whole scene on your layout.  :)
