CPS 133 (and one more card)

Good morning to everyone! I have some cards to share with you today. Both my cards use My Little Shoebox papers, overlays and die cuts and then my Hero Arts stamps. This first card is for this week's CPS sketch, CPS 133:

It's earlier than I usually take my pictures and the sun is just rising, so the pics look different than my usual pics. But I have a lot to do today, as soon as I drop my son off at school we are off to do other things, so I wanted to get this posted before we left. Anyways, and here is one other quick card I made...

Hope you all have a fabulous Thursday! My hubby says he will watch the kids tonight and let me scrap..we'll see, he also said he would give me a 3o minute massage.... :) Not sure if you have a man like I do, but mine tends to say a lot of things that never really happen, but I am sure hoping for both tonight! :)

More MLS + Hero Arts

So, like I have already mentioned, not only does the My Little Shoebox team get to work with MLS this month, but we also get to play with Hero Arts stamps! :) Here's a layout I did last night:

The MLS paper line that I used is "Sky's the Limit."

The stamps I used from Hero Arts are:
* Hello Tree (the birds came from this one)

Here are some close up's:

I am having a lot of fun with my MLS stuff this month...more to come! :)

Have a fabulous Wednesday everyone!

HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can share my news now!!!! I made the Tattered Angels Design Team! I am SUPER excited about this. And I was just looking at the team, and wow...I'm sot so sure I belong....this is one talented group of women....most of them well-known in the scrapbooking industry! WOW!!!!! Seriously, wow! :)

Check out the announcement here!

Man....I am seriously on the best design teams EVER!!!! I am so lucky! :)

Why?

Why is it so hard for me to update this blog?

* Life is good. I've been back into my David study.
* I'm getting ready to start a new Bible study at my church.
* I have a women's retreat coming up.
* I am really feeling that I want to do some sort of Bible study/scrapbooking project. You know...combine the things I love. Put more focus on my faith and really make sure that God is not only getting the glory for all that I do, but also I can worship my Lord through my work.

That' where I am at. I will make a serious effort to start posting more on this blog.

Stamp and Scrap Saturday :)

Woo Hoo...we got some My Little Shoebox to give away this week! Here's the deal...I made a new sketch for this challenge, here's the sketch...

Use this sketch to make a layout. Just remember that your layout has to use stamps on it. :) Then go to the Scrap and Stamp site and post a link to your layout! :) You can win the new "Sky's the Limit" line of paper (including letters!), you can see the picture on the SSS site.

Here's my layout:

This month for my My Little Shoebox DT work, we also got some stamps from Hero Arts to work with. This has two of those stamps on it. Thank you Hero Arts. :) Here are several close up's of my layout:

I really hope you play along with us this week!!!!! I can't wait to see everyone's layouts.

Have an awesome weekend!!!!

Friends With Flair Friday

Oh man...I am so messed up...it SO does not feel like a Friday! This whole week I've been like "ok, what day is it?" I guess it is probably because Monday was Labor day. Anyways...so today IS Friday. And Fridays are now Unity Stamp Company's "Friends with Flair" Fridays, where they showcase their customers work. I do have a layout to post today that uses Unity.

For a long time now I have wanted to make an all white(ish) layout. Here's what I came up with...

Man, it's so hard to see the stamps in the photos. Also there is a glitter look to it because I sprayed Pearl glimmer mist on the layout, which doesn't really show up.

The stamps I used are from these sets:

There you have it. I am off to walk my son to school. Hope it wakes me up...because I am TIRED! :)

Have a fabulous Friday! And make sure you check out the Unity blog to see a list of all the other Friends with Flair posts, and go check them out! :)
