A Little of Everything FP (and a GIVEAWAY)

Hope you all had a fantastic Easter! Anybody else with an abundance of Easter candy? Here are my Easter blessings:

I actually LOVE this picture because I feel like each of their personalities are shining through! I love it when you are able to capture personality!

Thanks for the continued prayers, comments and emails. We are doing well...life seems to be getting easier. As you can see from this post and my posts on facebook...I'm scrapbooking again--which I think is a good sign. We do have to deal with a lot of things that are still tough, but we are making it through. I consider all of you friends and I truly thank you for your support during this time in my life!

Well I have more Fancy Pants layouts to share with you today. :) I've got a layout for each of the 4 lines released at CHA. **PSSST...I couldn't say "from the latest releases" because FP has a NEW release, you can sneak a peek at it here. I feel very lucky to get to work with such fabulous product.

This one uses the "It's The Little Things" line:

Here are some close up's:

And then this one uses the "Beach Bum" line:

You can also find the fabulous filters, the awesome metal charms and the cool chipboard banners on this page, all from the Artist's Edition line. Here are some close up's:

Here's another page showcasing the metal charms. I just love them! It uses the "Beach Babe" line from FP:

I know...SO not beach related. :) Hey, I live in Colorado...we don't exactly have beaches here. But the papers are so versatile in this line that it is easy to use them for non-beach layouts and projects. Here are some close up's of the layout:

And finally, here's a fun layout that uses the "To The Moon" line:

There's a lot going on on this page and I just LOVE it! I think this one is my favorite of the bunch. Hayden actually helped me do it by picking the products and giving me advice. :) He made his own rocket layout too. Here are some close up's:

And now we come to the part you were probably waiting for...

THE GIVEAWAY!

Just by leaving a comment on this post, you can win the wonderful "It's The Little Things" line from Fancy Pants:

You don't have to post about it somewhere else or become a follower (though of course if you WANT to, that would be perfectly fine), you just have to leave a comment on this post to be included in the drawing for this kit. I will draw a name and announce the winner next Monday.

Ok all, have a wonderful day!!!

A BUNCH of MLS

I have a ton of My Little Shoebox stuff to share with you. Most of it was made for CHA and I was just waiting to share it with you til after it was shared on the MLS blog. As you know, I am no longer designing for MLS, but I do want to give a big shout out to all the fabulous designers who just made the team! I can't wait to see what you all do with their stuff. I will always love MLS. :)

So, since I have so much...I am just sharing the projects without all the close up's....

These use the City By The Bay line:

These use the Farmers Market line:

These use the Sew Cute line:

Ok...there you have it. That was a lot.

I worked on some new stuff yesterday. :) And the day before I made a new layout too. Can't wait to share my new stuff with you all!

Have a wonderful day!

Fancy some Fancy Pants?

I have a few layouts to share with you using the fabulous products from Fancy Pants. :)

This first layout uses the oh-so-cute It's The Little Things line. I just ADORE this line...it is hands down my favorite so far from Fancy Pants.

It uses another favorite of mine among the new Fancy Pants products...the awesome filters! They are so fun. I used them in the next layout too. I sprayed a little glimmer mist on them. Here are some close up's:

Those acrylic cuts were adhered with the fabulous V2 Vellum Adhesive spray from Helmar Adhesives! That stuff rocks too. :)

And then here is a fun layout I did for the FP blog...it was done for one of our Pocket Chick Pick features where I chose a layout from Heather Robertson to lift. You can see that post here. Here is my layout:

It also uses the It's The Little Things line and the filters. Here are some close up's:

And this cool look was done with Helmar Adhesive's Crackle product:

It's very easy to do. Then I sprayed a little glimmer mist on it and wiped it off so highlight the cracks more.

And then there is one more I wanted to share with you, but I will just sneak it for now. ;)

This layout showcases the fun Glitter Cuts from Fancy Pants (from their To The Moon line). To see the whole layout, check out this Fancy Pants blog post.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

Go Figure (I bet YOU knew)

SOOOO...

I can't tell you how much I have appreciated all the comments, facebook posts, and emails I have gotten over the past month and a half. You all seriously ROCK! I just love how much we support each other.

Yep. I was going through something extremely heartbreaking. So I took a break. It was supposed to be for 1 month. After March was over, I made the following decision.

I quit.

I resigned from all of my design team commitments except Fancy Pants. And I thought I would resign from Fancy Pants too but I just got a huge box from them and didn't feel right quitting right after receiving it. So I hadn't resigned from them yet. But I gave it all up. I couldn't imagine ever really putting much into this hobby or this industry again. My life seemed so different. I seemed so different.

I even gave up Scrapbook Challenges. The fabulous Brynn is now the owner and operator for the group.

I have spent the last two weeks cleaning out my scrapbook room and selling stuff on ebay. A LOT of stuff. I mean, you should see all the purging I have done. And now that that is done...

I want to scrapbook.

Seriously!?! Isn't that crazy! But it's also incredibly encouraging. I thought that part of my life was over. But now that my room is getting clean and has a lot less in it, I actually feel very inspired by it. I WANT to go sit down and work on something. I am itching to break out my FP box and work on assignments...I'm full of new ideas!

And for the first time in a long time, today I even sat down and looked at some blogs. :)

I'm not saying that everything is going back to how it was. I probably won't be posting every day. I have to make the decision to still keep my focus where it needs to be. I'll start slow. I like the idea of only being on the Fancy Pants team...except I may be willing to do one more team (the right team *wink wink*). I just saw that I have missed the one DT call I have gone for the past 3 years. It's that time again, and I missed it. Well technically there's still a week left. Don't know if I will get my act pulled together in time or not. But that is also another encouraging and inspiring thought. I'm really starting the believe that Pamela, the scrapbooker, may not be gone after all.

So there you have it.

I thought I had quit, but here I am.

And thank you to all of you who shared with me that I had won on the Prima blog! Again, you all ROCK! :) In case you missed it...here's the layout I made that won over there last month...

I took a large circle embroidery thingy (lol...sorry, not sure what they are called) and used it for the background misting. I just love how beautiful and delicate the whole page looks.

Ok...

well, I'll be back. I have to catch up on posting my Fancy Pants projects and I still have a bunch of My Little Shoebox to share with you all as well.

Take care. And again, thank you for caring.

Dear Blog Readers

I am so sorry that I haven't been posting. I am going through something...deeply personal. I haven't even been able to scrapbook or really be on the computer. I have taken the month of March off from all my scrapbook duties. But rest assured, I will be back. I will fight through this. I have to admit the first couple weeks were hard. I didn't know if I would ever be able to jump back into my passions and hobbies. But I am finally getting to the point were I know I will be able to do it all again. I need it. But for this month, I am choosing to focus on life and my precious children. I am also spending the extra time with God. HE is my refuge and my strength.

Thank you for sticking with me. I was shocked to see my followers were only down by one. You all rock.
