Happy Fourth of July!!!!

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a fun and safe Fourth of July!

Well you've popped in on just the right day because we have some fun stuff going on!

The Skipping Stones Design Team is thrilled to be teaming up with the fabulous designers from The Ribbon Carousel to bring you a blog hop that is sure to impress!

Here's the card I made for this week's inspiration challenge on the SSD blog.  This was the inspiration photo:

And this is the card I made:

I was inspired by the flags, as well as the kraft background with the red, white and blue.

I used the fabulous Cupcake Cutie stamp set from Skipping Stones.

I used 4 different ribbons on my card, all from Ribbon Carousel.  Three for the flags I made and then the wide red, white, and blue one near the bottom.

Ok...now let's talk prizes...

Hop along and leave some blog love for our designers for a chance to win one of 2 great prizes!  The Ribbon Carousel will be giving away a ribbon carousel and Skipping Stones Design will be giving away a stamp set of the winner's choice!   Winners will be announced on Saturday at 8:00 PM EST!

Ready to hop?!
Lets do it!

You'll want to hop on the Peggy next (see full list below).  But don't forget to first leave a comment here!

Hope you have a fabulous FOURTH!!!  :)

Red, White and Blue

Another of the new releases from We R Memory Keepers that they shared at CHA is the Red, White and Blue line.  I loved working with this collection!  :)

Here's what I made:

I just cut out a couple circles from my background piece and stitched in them.  :)

Here are the close up's:

And I also made some cards...

This one also featured the Sew Stamper.

And these next two use the cool coordinating stamps for this line as well as the Sweetheart Inkers:

Makes me long for Summer and backyard grillin'.  :)

Stop by again tomorrow to see how I used the new Down the Boardwalk collection!

Day 4 of my RAKS :)

Here I am again with another fabulous prize...and I think it's HUGE! :) This is what I am offering up today:

That is OVER 200 sheets of patterned paper from Rusty Pickle! That is over $100 of paper!!! :) It includes both old and new lines. It has all sorts of different styles, themes and holidays (I can tell you it includes Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Fourth of July...). And yes, it includes their die cut papers too. :)

And here is a two page layout I did that I haven't shared with you yet. It uses Rusty Pickle papers. I made it for a call awhile back.

I know it's kinda small...you can click on it to view it bigger. And here are some close up's:

Everything is from Rusty Pickle.

Now as for the rules...they are exactly the same as yesterday and the day before and the day before...

How to get entered into the drawing for this awesome prize:

* Leave me a comment on this post! :)

For EXTRA chances to win, here are two more ways to get entered into the drawing...

* Post about this giveaway on another site (blog, group, etc.) and then leave me a link to your post! :)

* Be a follower of my blog! Over to the right you will see the "follow" section. I have never done a giveaway where you have to become a follower of my blog...I kind of always thought of that as pimping out your blog. But then I was thinking about it and here is why I decided to go ahead and do it this time... 1) What's wrong with pimping out your blog? :) and 2) I have had many faithful and wonderful followers...isn't it ok to "reward" them for following me? Afterall, shouldn't they get a little extra love from me at times. :) So yep, if you become a follower or if you are already a follower, then you have another chance to win. Simply leave me another comment stating that you are a follower! :)

So there you have it! You have all week to leave your comments. I will announce a winner on Monday March 29th.

Good luck! :) And make sure you come back tomorrow to what I will be giving away next! :)

Scrap and Stamp Challenge....

is up!!! Check it out here. I hope you play along with us! The challenge is to create a patriotic layout that uses at least one stamp. So dig those stamps out...take fabulous pictures today, and I can't wait to see what you do! And not only can you win a prize by participating, you could also be picked as our next guest designer! Here's what I threw together for the challenge. Melissa sent me those papers, buttons and brad to use. :)

And this layout I made the other day...it doesn't include stamping, but it is patriotic. I made it for the Reminisce contest. I didn't win but I did get honorable mention. Check out the winners here.

Have a great Fourth of July everyone!!! Be safe and have fun! :)

My July Coco'nutty Creations

Here's what I did so far with my July kit from the Coconut ScrapShop:

And I am working on this cool mini book with the July kit too. I will post that when I am done. Isn't this kit cool! It was designed by Alexandra Hobson. It is filled with goodies. Guess who is designing next month's kit...me! Yep...I had fun picking it all out. It will feature this new line that is just AWESOME and some of my favorites too.

And, I am sure you are wondering about what happened with the last challenge from Scrapbooks, etc. Did I win? Well...it looks like it...I am not sure that it is completely over yet, but I am ahead by 67 votes! :) Thank you SO MUCH for everyone who voted for me...you guys are AWESOME!!!
