But he doesn't.
He hates them. In fact, he's told me before that the kids at school don't like him because he has freckles. I've been talking to him a lot about how much I love them, and how handsome he is. I told him about my grandpa, and he seemed to like that. I hope that one day he realizes that his freckles are part of what makes him unique.
So I created a layout about his dislike of freckles and showed it to him.
"Ahh...mom, why did you put that on there?"
Oh how I wish I could change his mind.

i had freckles my entire life and i was teased just a bit in grade school because of them. hopefully he will grow to love them!

My Mom has freckles and used to get teased... but now she loves them! And I loveeeeeeeeeeee your lo!! LOVING the photos, the chevrons with the stitching, the negative title work... just gorgeous... and so is your son!!
He is totally handsome and I think freckles adorable. I have them too and so does my youngest and he's too cute.

CUTE!!!! I have always had freckles, but I don't think I ever hated them. I do recall being teased on occasion by kids in school, but that was when we were very young, and I think kids grow out of that. I personally love my freckles, now!! Being red haired and fair skinned, I'm sure that both of my girls will have them, too, and I hope I can teach them to love them too.

Great layout, great story! My son was a red haired freckled boy, and he hated his freckles also, but the girls loved them as he got older. I think he hated his red hair more than his freckles however. I have had freckles all my life also, but not as apparent as his were. Good luck to your handsome little man! Love Penny
Love the layout! I, and my oldest son, both have freckles. I remembered he went thru a phase where he also hated them. I have always loved them on him though. your son is very handsome, and his freckles only add to his cuteness :)
