Hopping with Skipping Stones and Scor-Pal!

Hello, friends! Thanks for stopping by today!  It has been 3 weeks since my surgery!  Things are starting to look better!  Yeah!  I actually made it downstairs yesterday to work on the project I am sharing today.  It was the first time I even tried to do anything creative since the surgery.  I so miss it.  But I am confident that things are going to start to return to normal, and I couldn't be happier about that. :)  I miss you all.

Well today Skipping Stones Design is excited to be releasing another BEAUTIFUL stamp set! It is called Beautiful Botanicals and it is a must have!!!

And, even better, Skipping Stones has joined up with the fabulous Scor-Pal team for an amazing blog hop! The hop will begin at the Scor-Pal blog and will finish off at the Skipping Stones blog! If you came from Tami's blog you are already on track! If not, you may want to hop on back to Scor-Pal to join in on ALL the fun! Don't forget to leave comments! Skipping Stones Design will be giving away one stamp set to a lucky winner AND Scor-Pal is giving away a Scor-Buddy, so there is lots to win!

So here is the new sketch for this week at Skipping Stones:

The sketch was created by the fabulous Angi Barrs.  I hope you take the challenge and play along with us!  *You do NOT have to have Skipping Stones Design stamps to play along!*

And here is what I created:

It is actually a thin folder.  I used the Scor-Buddy and scored lines to make the folds.  Really, I just winged the design.  And it's good enough for me.  :)

I have some sheets that go inside.  You can see them now like this:

I could leave them as is, as stationary.  But I either want to hand-write notes from each of us on the cards, or make mini scrapbook pages.  I've already made a couple, and I will let my kids help by making their own too.  :)

Here are the two I created:

The beautiful papers are all from The ScrapCake, from their The Bright Side of Life collection.  Yep, still lovin' that one!  :)

And of course, I used the new Beautiful Botanicals stamp set.

Now it's YOUR turn! Join in the sketch challenge this week by creating a card using the featured sketch and link up to the Skipping Stones site for your chance to win FREE stamps! You don't have to use Skipping Stones Stamps, but we love when you do! Do you have a Scor-Pal or Scor-Buddy? We would love to see you rocking those, too!!! We ask that you don't combine the challenge with more than five total in your post (including SSD) and please link back here! Have fun!

*** Your next stop on the hop is Amy's blog

Don't forget to leave comments so you can win the stamp set or Scor-Buddy!

A HUGE thank you to Scor-Pal for providing Scor-Buddies to the Skipping Stones Design Team! We LOVE THEM!!!! Here is the complete hop order for you, just in case!

Oh, and in case you missed it...Skipping Stones is having a FABULOUS contest over on their Facebook page!  We need a fabulous SSD project to use as the Cover Photo and we want it to come from YOU!  Simply upload your photo to the SSD Fan page to enter (make a note on it so we know you are entering) and one winner will get a FREE set of stamps AND be the featured project on our Facebook Cover!

Thanks for stopping by today!  :)
Have a wonderful day!!!

Now head over to Amy's blog.
