It's A Life Journal :)

What's a Life Journal, you ask?  It's what I am calling my album that is part journal, part scrapbook, part prayer book and part art journal.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Let me introduce you to Scrapkit Studio.  Scrapkit Studio specializes in kits that our perfect for the beginning scrapbooker.  The kits are chipboard album kits that come with all the pieces to assemble, with even pre-cut pieces.  And they are designed very well...very easy to do.

I was approached to guest design for them, using their fabulous My Everyday Life kit.  And basically I am going to share with you how I used the kit and created something completely different.  :)  I am very happy with how it turned out.  The My Everyday Life kit is full of goodies from Simple Stories, which I had yet to play with, so I was very excited to get to play with them.

And I have a lot of the kit still left.  This is going to be one of those on-going projects.

The only things I added that were not part of the kit were the paint and ink.  I did cut a few things with my Cameo too...like that heart of hearts, and the silhouettes.

Seriously, this kit is jammed packed with goodies.  And it makes a BIG album!  I highly recommend you hop over there and check it out.  And I think it is very reasonably priced too!  Maybe you can get on board with my "Life Journal" concept.  :)  Or the kit is perfect for a year album, with all the month cards.
