Welcome! Hopefully you've come here from Cathy, but if not--we would love for you to join us at the beginning of the hop on the Helmar blog! You won't be disappointed and will find tons of gift ideas and wonderful holiday inspiration. Make sure to leave a comment at every stop on the hop for a chance to win prizes...and there's a lot of great prizes! Spreaking of prizes...Helmar will also be giving them away all day on the Helmar Facebook page...so make sure you "like" them and pay attention to their posts today. :)

So for my project today I am sharing a gift I made to give to my mom for Christmas. Good thing she doesn't read me blog. :)

I actually sat down with the boys and we all got a canvas and some paint...and made Christmas gifts. My mom will probably like Austin and Hayden's better then mine, but that is ok! ;) Here's how mine ended up looking:

I used Helmar Premium Craft Glue for almost all of it. That little bird in the left bottom corner is a sticker and I wanted it popped up a bit...so I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots for that. BTW...that stuff is THE BEST!!! Here are some close up's:

Had to add the grandkids. :)

Stickers are really hard to get to stay on canvas...believe me, I have tried before. But a dab of the Helmar Premium Craft Glue works like a charm!!!

And now it is time to move on to the lovely Jessica.

Have a wonderful Holiday season! And stay tuned to my blog because I will be posting lots more Christmas gift ideas. :)

December Daily album (+ GIVEAWAY)

So I haven't had a chance to share with you my full December Daily album yet...without pics and journaling. So I am going to do that today. Take note...there are a lot of pictures! But it'll be worth it because I have a giveaway at the end. I'll try to talk as little as I can. :)

So I already posted my cover on my blog but here it is again, in case you missed it...

Further details can be found here.

And here are my inside pages....all ready to add my photos and journaling...

My album is from Punky Sprouts BUT I added a bunch of my own pages to it. :) And I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesives spray to put it all together.

I used a lot (all the papers, stickers, buttons, die cuts, overlays) from Fancy Pants Design's Tradition line. I love it.

Want a chance to win it???? Leave me a comment right now, right here on this blog post for a chance to win the Tradition collection from Fancy Pants Designs. :) I will announce a winner (chosen randomly) on Monday.

Hope you have a wonderful day. (I do actually already have my first 3 pages done with photos and journaling but I will share those next week).

Keepin' It Real (Hip Hop)

This week for Hip Hop, we are sharing Christmas cards and layouts. And you know I am sharing a layout! :) And it has a photo on it that you might never scrap! But I am getting ahead of myself....You'll want to start the hop at the Unity Blog. If you came from Jennifer then you are in the right place. :)

SOOO....every year at Christmas we celebrate with my in-laws and then with my parents. They are very different experiences. One is chaotic and one big (fun) mess. One is organized...one person at a time, and we clean up after each opening of the present. :) Last year I decided to take a picture of the mess left in the first scenario. Why would I scrap the mess? Because I am keepin' it real! Seriously...it's part of the whole experience.

So here is my layout:

And just one close up so you can see the journaling:

I used the following stamp sets from Unity:

All my papers, stickers and trim are from Webster's Pages. I used the back sides, which I typically don't do as much...but I figured I have enough of their papers in my stash that it was ok. :)

And I, of course, used Helmar for all my adhering needs. I used the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.

AND........

I do have another stamp set to give away today. :) All you need to do is leave a comment on this blog post and you could win this stamp set:

If you haven't seen the December Kit of the Month from Unity yet, click here. It is SO cute! I absolutely LOVE the hanging quilt!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on that one. :)

And now it's time to hop on to the lovely Robyn.

Next Blog

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!
