Sketch 237 Challenge

Hi everyone!  I'm back with the second sketch challenge for the month.  :)

If you are new to my sketches, here's how it works:

I essentially create three versions of one sketch each time. There will be one 12x12 scrapbook sketch, one double page sketch (12x24), and one card sketch (A4). This makes it easier for all types of crafters to participate. :)

Of course, there will be prizes.

So for today's sketches:

Sketch 237a - 12x12 layout
Sketch 237b - 2 page layout
Sketch 237c - Card (A4)

And now for the HUGE prize up for grabs...

This contains:
*  159 sheets of patterned paper from Fancy Pants Designs (YEP I SAID 159!)
*  8 printed transparencies from Fancy Pants Designs
*  12 sheets of stickers from Fancy Pants Designs

*  1 package of chipboard banners from Fancy Pants Designs

My Sunshine

Hi everyone!  I have a new layout to share with you today.  :)  It uses the fabulous Cook collection from Ruby Rock-It.

Sometimes you look at a picture and it just makes total sense to cut it into a shape.  These pictures were taken at the park.  Eryn was in one of those tunnel tube things.  I loved the way it almost looked like she was in a bubble after I cut around the circle entrance to the tunnel.  I considered pairing them with a  large picture of Eryn I had blowing bubbles (so it looked like she was in bubbles being blown my herself).  But I didn't get that creative...I just made a quick easy layout.  :)

Here are some close up's of my layout:

Not too much else to say about this layout...pretty simple.  :)

Thanks for stopping in today!
Have a FABULOUS day!!

Come and hop along with us, leaving comments at each blog to enter to win an awesome Ruby Rock-it prize pack!  You could win your very own collection of Ruby goodies!
I am actually the last stop on the hop before returning to the Ruby Rock-It blog.
So I made two very simple, easy wedding cards to share with you.  First up:

This card literally took me 5 minutes to make.  It was so easy.  I laid vellum on the card, then I layered and placed my focal piece on my card (came from this cardmaking kit) and added the lace and congratulations.  My final step was adding just a bit of hand-stitching.
Then there's this card:
Isn't that blinged out flower fabulous?  I liked the way it looked in the package so I just adhered the bling to the cardboard backing and cut it out.
I also used some other packaging on my card...did you notice it?  I had received something that was wrapped in that thin styrofoam like packaging (don't know what it is actually called).  Well I used it on my card.  All about recycling.  :)  I really love the way it looks.
Ok, well now it's time to hop back to the Ruby Rock-It blog.
In case you missed any along the way, here's the entire hop order:

This Girl

Guess what?

This girl is trying something new.  :)

You can find the post here.  :)

I was thrilled when sweet Erin asked me if I would be interested.  :)  I've worked with her (and several of the team) before.
I am looking forward to something new and different...it'll be fun.

So here's a layout I made with their product:

That one kraft piece is from the Kinda Krafty collection and was perfect for my stitched design.  The rest of the papers and embellishments come from the Carnival Queen collection.

Here are some close up's:

Did you read the journaling?  Isn't that amazing?  Her poor brother didn't like it though.  He did come in second, but it doesn't mean much when his little sister beat him.

Well thank you so much for stopping in today!!!!

Have a wonderful day!
