Fancy Some Hot Chocolate?

It's cold here and I love me some hot chocolate....but this post is about the Hot Chocolate line from Fancy Pants Designs. :) I just LOVE this line!!! I've made five things with it so far, and every time I find myself wishing I had even more of the fantastic line. I do have one more layout to share with you today:

For a previous layout I wanted a bunch of circles, so I cut them out with my Slice, leaving a sheet of patterned paper that some may call unusable and throw away since there wasn't much left...but not me! :) I thought it was fantastic and wanted to use it. I just laid it on top of another piece of paper. The circle design certainly is not perfect...but I don't care. :) I just built my page on top of it. Here are some close up's:

That brown snowflake piece was part of a snowflake that I used on another layout...it was the hanging off part that I cut off. I saved it to use later. :)

I used Helmar adhesives to put my layout together. I used the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive for everything except the tree. For the tree, I used Helmar's Liquid Scrap Dots to pop it up a bit.

Well I have a bunch to do today...I better get on it!

Have a wonderful day!!!!!

Hot Mamas!

Hehe...I have a layout today to share with you that features some of the hot mamas of My Little Shoebox. The photos are from CHA. I used papers from the "Summer Breeze" line from My Little Shoebox. Here's the layout:

I am so glad I got to go to CHA and meet the wonderful gals in person! I love them all! Seriously, they are a great bunch of girls! On the two left pictures you can see Helen, she is standing on the left, she is the fabulous creator and owner of My Little Shoebox products. Frankly, I think she is brilliant, I have yet to not love a line from MLS.

I used two new chipboard pieces from Magistical Memories. I used the beautiful Flowing Flower Cornerand lightly sprayed it with pink Glimmer Mist. Then I also used the Chunky Scallop Frame and covered it with paper which I lightly sanded around the edges.

I adhered everything with adhesive from Helmar. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive for most of it. I used Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive spray to adhere the intricate die cut from Nicole Lombardo and then Flowing Flower Corner piece. And then I also used some Zapdots to raise my picture up a bit.

Here are some close up's of my layout:

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! Hope you have a wonderful day. :)

Attitude of Gratitude **MLS BLOG HOP**

Welcome everyone to My Little Shoebox's THANKFUL blog hop! :) If you are just stopping by, why not start the hop at the beginning on the MLS blog. If you came from Aphra, then you are in the right place. Wasn't Aphra's project amazing!!! I just loved it.

There will be a prize awarded to one lucky winner of THEIR CHOICE of a MLS collection! I think that is cool that they are letting you choose. Make sure you leave comments on all the blogs in the hop.

So today I will be sharing a layout with you. Last year on facebook I started doing this "Attitude of Gratitude" thing where I tried to be mindful of what I was thankful for throughout the month of November. I am doing it again this year, but I am trying to do it everyday. If you are my friend on facebook then you will have seen my posts. :) I've noticed that a lot of people are doing it this year and I just think that is FANTASTIC! I thought it would be cool to document that. It's always good to be reminded of the good things in life. So I copied and pasted all my posts from last year and used them on a layout...I plan to do the same for this year.

Here is the layout I made...

I mixed it up and used a variety of lines from My Little Shoebox. I used Helmar adhesives to adhere it all...I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and then a variety of Zapdots to pop up a few things.

Here are some close up's of my layout:

Those flowers are stamped and embossed, then I stitched on top of them to make it kinda look like a banner. :)

And it wouldn't be a blog hop without prizes, right? :) Besides the grand prize....

I will have my own giveaway. To be eligible, simply leave a comment on my blog post and I will draw one lucky winner. :) Here's the prize:

These fabulous mini alphabets are the most popular item MLS makes. You can win 6 different colors: Limeade, Brownie, Lollipop, Pearl, Razzleberry, and Mermaid.

Oh and before you hop on....

I have a few layouts up at Scrapbooks, Etc that are in the running for a $100 prize! If you like them, I would LOVE your votes! Check them out here ("Captured Joy"), here ("Makes My Heart Happy") and here ("Chocolate"). THANKS!!!!!

Ok and now it is time to hop on to the fabulous and incredibly talented Carol!!!

Have a fantastic day! Hope you stop in again! :)
